Inspired by an early 20th-century worktable that belonged to one of our designer’s great-grandfathers, Benchwright’s rustic wood frame features handcrafted details like mortise and tenon joinery. There’s a strength and simplicity in the turnbuckle hardware.
CONSTRUCTION
- Expertly crafted of forged iron and from thick planks of meticulously weathered and distressed hardwood, poplar veneers and MDF.
- Due to the nature of planked wood, the table may have small spaces between the panels.
- MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time.
- The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking.
- Finished by hand using our exclusive multi-step process; an innovative, exclusive process that makes each piece unique.
- Table features a metal turnbuckle tabletop support rod; 1 straight rod for 60" x 38" and 74" x 40"; 2 slanted rods for 86" x 42" and 108" x 42".
- Unique breadboard extensions hold drop-in leaves.

CARE
- To protect finish, do not apply abrasives or household cleaners, dust with soft dry cloth.
- Always use coasters, pads cloth or felt to protect furniture surface.
- Wipe up spills immediately.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive temperatures.
- Hardware may loosen over time, periodically check to make sure all connections are tight and retighten if necessary.
